With over 20 years of experience in the technology related field and 15 years with Spye - Shane has been fundamental in shaping and leading Spye's system design and engineering, quality control, operations and customer service teams. Working directly with our clients to solve and design solutions that meet their needs and collaborating with outside partners on our biggest projects is his specialty. With a multitude of knowledge, he has received a diploma in Electronics Technology from MRTC, and also has a BS degree in Management Information Systems, along with minors in Business Administration and Computer Science from NDSU.

Paul founded Spye with the goal of bringing cutting edge technology to businesses and consumers alike. Seventeen years later, Spye has become the premier AV solution- from small firms to fortune 500 companies. Nationally recognized and growing every day, Paul has taken a company that started in his garage and made it into a fully operational AV integration, service, and content company.

With over seventeen years of experience at Spye, Michael has brought his extensive history of product and furniture design to use every day. He is a seasoned engineer and builder- who’s valuable experience has translated strategically to the AV tech world of Spye. He is a graduate and former adjunct faculty member from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

For over ten years Branden has collaborated with leading architecture and electrical firms to bring the biggest and the best projects to life. While attending Mankato State, he graduated with a BS in Construction Management and a minor in Business Administration. His instrumental leadership on the job sites ensures the highest quality of builds for each and every project.

Matt came to Spye in 2015 with over a decade of experience in the technology field. While at Spye, he has obtained an AAS degree in Information Technology Management with a specialization in Network and Systems Administration, Avixa’s CTS certification, Extron’s Authorized Programmer certification as well as many other industry certifications covering system design, AV Over IP, streaming technologies, audio engineering, large format displays and more. Matt thrives on the unique challenges and the client interaction that are a part of being an in-the-field programmer for the duration of your project with Spye.

Tony Petrangelo has been working in the AV industry for over twenty years and has been with Spye since its inception in 2004. Over the years Tony has been involved with all aspects of the project lifecycle, from pulling cables to installing gear to designing systems to writing code. Tony is AVIXIA CTS certified and is and an Extron and AMX certified programmer. Tony is confident with Python, Javascript, React, CSS, HTML and Serverless.

Steve is the Swiss Army Knife of the creative department. He is a BFA graduate of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. As Spye’s resident polymath, Steve brings a mastery of almost countless (and certainly all invaluable) techniques to the table. It doesn’t matter if he’s in CAD, on the table saw, at the TIG welder, behind the RED camera or piloting a drone, Steve’s got chops.

Originally from China, Tianrui has brought his vast world view to Spye over the past four years. He is a talented and dedicated graphic designer and media animator, who has obtained multiple awards in the design industry. Tianrui loves designing audio visual content for its limitless potential and flexible canvas. He has created content ranging from the largest video wall in the Midwest to hospital lobby signage. He holds an MFA in Visual studies from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
